How To Stop Chromium From Opening On Startup Windows 10

Open the following link provided below in Internet Explorer.

https://back up.microsoft.com/en-the states/mats/program_install_and_uninstall?ppud=4&wa=wsignin1.0
Press F12 central.
Get to Emulation tab.
Click on Document mode drop down, select 10.
Wait till the pages gets reloaded.
Click on User agent string drop downwards, select Cyberspace Explorer ten.
Now, download and run the fix it on your computer.

Thank you, Syed. I followed the instructions and the Set up-it program ran. It got to a list of programs to uninstall, but Chromium was non in it. Then it asked for a Product Code, and I have no idea what that is for Chromium. Any other ideas?

FWIW I am using IE 11 rather than 10, if that makes any difference.

When did y'all commencement seeing Chromium browser on your PC?

Y'all can disable the browser to open upwards on startup by disabling startup programs.

a. Press Windows key + R, type msconfig and click OK

b. Click Startup tab and then click Open task manager

c. Select the browser if shown from the list and click Disable

d. Restart the computer to test

I accept windows 10 and none of these things worked for me. What I had to practice was go to command panel and search for "start up" clicked on "run into which processes start upwardly automatically when you outset up windows" and expect for chromium. Highlight and click disable

That you for this simple fix... well at least it let me Disable it..., we shall run into what happens at side by side Kicking Upwards! Thanks once more.

Who put this on our systems... just rhetorical.

Wish the more than technical users could figure out who puts all this garbage on out systems west/o permission... and nosotros (millions of users) had a way to send them garbage and waste their time. They would retrieve twice about standing their practice.
